Our Mission
Our mission is to provide comprehensive collaborative care to our patients, as a 'Nurse Led' clinic we collaborate with your General Practitioner, Specialists and other Allied Health or Community Service Providers.
The Purgatorium clinic supports Australian charities for Domestic Violence, First Nation People, Diversity and Inclusion and Mental Health
Our Vision
Our aim is to empower our patient by supporting their individual needs to safely express their sexuality and meet their sexual health and wellness needs for all, especially in the LGBTIQA+ diverse community.

We also aim empower patients in their general health and wellness by providing them with knowledge to promote holistic patient centred care, and improve patient self management.

At the Purgatprium clinic our team is deticated to providing high quality comprehensive person centred care to the local community and maintaining patient safety at all times.

The Purgatorium's main principle is to provide 'health equity' not 'health equality' as this is the true definition of person centred care.
Consultations & Procedures
The Purgatorium Clinic is a private Nurse Led clinic currently only accessible to patients through a referal and will be accepting new patients with or without referrals in the near future.
The Purgatorium involves the patient in every step of the way through their health and wellness consultation and journey by providing holistic person centred care and individualised treatment plans and reviews.

Practitioner QualificationsYour practitioner must disclose their professional qualifications and registration status with their national health board and your practitioner should also disclose any restrictions on their scope of practice. Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) has a searchable database to identify your practitioner’s current qualifications and registration status.

Practitioner Experience and SupervisionAs a patient you have the right to ask your practitioner questions regarding their experience in performing the procedures you are considering, just because the practitioner is a registered health professional this does not mean the procedure is in their scope of practice.

Prescriptions and PrescribersAll patient must have a face to face or video and audio consultation with a Medical Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner before any prescription medications and/or regulated health services can be provided or administered to the patient, after an initial consultation the patient may have access to 'prescription repeats' however this is not guarenteed.

Products and EquipmentAs a patient you have the right to ask your practitioner questions regarding the products and equipment being used, if they are ARTG listed for use in Australia and obtained through authorised Australian distributors.
