ABOUT The Purgatorium

The Purgatorium is a privately owned health and wellness clinic providing holistic and inclusive person centred care to all our patients.
The Purgatorium will soon expand its services to new patients for the following; sexual and reproductive health, womens health and wellness, weight management and nutrition therapy, travel health, dermatology, wound care services, transgender and diverse community, minimally invasive medical and dermatology procedures and more.
The Purgatorium will also be accepting Team Care Arrangeements from General Practitioner for partients on GP Management Plans for collaboration and patient education and/or interventions.

The Purgatorium is currently accepting private referrals from GPs and Specialists for;
Non Specialist/General Dermatology (acne, milia, rosacea, alopecia, hyperhidrosis, melasma, small vascular and benign pigmented lesions, PIH, scarring, wounds)
Transgender Consults (hair, skin, feminising/masculinising options)
Iron deficientcy anaemia (fetal monitoring not available on site)

Patient Information
Patients MUST pre-approve any family members or friends attending appointments or speaking on their behalf who are not appointed enduring power of attorney (EPOA) or Enduring Guardianship (personal and medical decision maker).
Family members or friends who are not legal, financial, personal or medical decision makers will not be provided any patient information without the patients verbal consent and these attempts to access confidential information will be reported to the patient.
Elder abuse is any deliberate or unintentional action, or lack of action, carried out by a person in a trusted relationship, which causes distress, harm, or serious risk of harm to an older person, or loss or damage to property or assets.
Suspected or witnessed elder abuse WILL be reported to appropriate authorities

Men's Aesthetics
Men's Aesthetics takes a more masculine approach to aesthetic treatment planning by focusing on creating natural looking stronger features.
Men's Aesthetics' first goal is to create a broad or square jawline, jaw angle, and chin, the second goal is to create a broad cheekbone with minimal OG curve and the third goal is a strong or straight to minimal arched brow.

Women's Aesthetics
Women's Aesthetics takes a more feminine approach to the aesthetic treatment planning by focusing on creating natural looking, softer features and contouring the face.
Women's Aesthetics' first goal is to create feminine arched brows and fuller lips, the second goal is to create contoured cheekbones with a mild to moderate OG curve and the third goal is to create a narrow triangular jawline, jaw angle, and chin.

Transgender Aesthetics
Transgender Aesthetics' takes a tailored approach to your aesthetic treatment planning by assisting you with your transition from male to female or female to male in a step by step approach and in collaboration with your other healthcare provider.

Transgender Aesthetics' goal is to assist you with a smooth transition from sis gender to your chosen gender identity with non surgical and non permanent (reversable) treatments to align your physical appearance with your gender identity.

Mature Aged Aesthetics
Mature Aged Aesthetics takes a more restorative approach to the aesthetic treatment planning by focusing on restoring or creating a natural and youthful look.
Mature Aged Aesthetics' first goal is to restore areas of bone resorption to provide structure, the second goal is to replace facial hollowing and fat pad atrophy to create volume and the third goal is to relocate fat pad descent to correct mild to moderate sagging.
Healthy Ageing Aesthetics
Healthy Ageing Aesthetics takes a more preventative approach to the aesthetic treatment planning by focusing on preventing or slowing down the ageing process by creating a natural and youthful look.
Healthy Ageing Aesthetics' first goal is to target the skin's appearance and integrity as this alone can create the appearance of ageing gracefully or poorly, the second goal is to prevent wrinkles by targeting muscle activity and the third goal is to prevent skin laxity through the use of collagen induction therapies.
Inner Health and Wellness
Inner Health and Wellness takes a more internal approach and focuses more on nutrition therapy creating an inner health and wellness treatment plan.
Inner Health and Wellness often includes nutrition supplements including oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular or intravenous therapy to replace or increase vitamins, minerals, trace elements, antioxidants, amino acids, neurotransmitters or rehydration.
